Is junk food your easy answer?
New research has revealed that one third of parents fall into the trap of regularly letting their children snack on fatty foods, such as chocolate and crisps, because they’re more convenient. Worryingly, more than half of parents also believe this method is cheaper – because they think healthy snacks are more expensive.
How much is your child’s health worth? If we don’t begin to ask ourselves these questions, parents could be sending their children down a long and dangerous road of weight problems later in life.
We’ve said before that snacking is an important part of a toddler’s diet, but it always matters what you feed them – especially at such a young age whilst their taste buds are developing.
